J.C. Nichols Company platted Romanelli West and Meyer Gardens subdivisions in the late 1940’s. Our homeowners are members of the Homes Association of the Country Club District. J.C. Nichols admired the sculptures of the Raffaello Romanelli Studio in Florence, after which he named the subdivision and our association. Romanelli West homes are on large tree shaded lots and wide streets. We have an active homeowners’ association, and various social activities throughout the year.
